Client Service
Joe conducts and manages environmental services for contaminated sites impacted by chlorinated volatile organic compounds, petroleum, metals, pesticides, and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) on behalf of federal, state, municipal, and complex private clients. This work often includes being responsible for high-resolution site-characterization assessment and remedial design, implementation, and optimization.
Clients seek Joe’s expertise in designing and implementing various soil and groundwater remediation strategies, including bioremediation, air stripping, air/bio-sparging, soil vapor extraction, multi-phase extraction, large diameter auger steam and emulsified zero valent iron injection, excavation, pump and treat, and natural attenuation monitoring. To meet the objectives of clients and regulators, he has supported the closure of multiple sites, within the 62-780 Florida Administrative Code framework.
To advance the state of the practice, Joe engages with colleagues throughout the firm and contributes to innovation in his field. He is an active member of the steering committee of Geosyntec’s internal groundwater practice group and mentors junior staff in assessment and remediation strategies and standards. In his project work, he often identifies alternate and optimized cleanup strategies and alternate funding mechanisms to facilitate his clients’ cleanup objectives.
