The A&WMA is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional organization that enhances knowledge and expertise by providing a neutral forum for information exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, and public education. A&WMA promotes environmental responsibility and increases the effectiveness of organizations to make critical decisions that benefit society.
The A&WMA’s Georgia Chapter’s mission is to promote a cleaner, safer environment in Georgia by focusing on air and waste issues. They achieve their mission through information transfer, technology exchange, education, and environmental leadership.
