Thomas Vainio-Mattila Joins Geosyntec as Principal Environmental Consultant

Thomas Vainio-Mattila, MSc, PGeo, EurGeol, (Ireland) recently joined Geosyntec Consultants as a Principal Environmental Consultant. He has more than 25 years of experience in environmental consulting in Ireland, the UK, and Germany.

At Geosyntec, Thomas will focus on the waste sector, including the design, engineering, and environmental compliance management of licensed facilities such as landfills.

In past roles, Thomas has served as a Senior Environmental Consultant and an Associate Director involved in waste management, contaminated land risk assessments, and landfill gas management.
