Robyn Gaebel Speaks at WiSE Mentorship Event

Robyn Gaebel, PEng, will serve as a panelist at the 2025 Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) Mentorship Event at the University of British Columbia on the evening of March 26, 2025.

The fireside chat, “Pioneering Women Leadership in Science and Engineering,” will take place at 5:20 at the Robert H. Lee Alumni Center on the campus of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Geosyntec is a Community Sponsor of the event.

Robyn’s co-panelists are Vanessa Wong of RJC Engineers, Sneha Bhattacharya of Amazon, and Asal Rahbari of Hatch.

Robyn is a Senior Engineer based in British Columbia with more than 17 years of experience in geotechnical, environmental, and civil design, as well as in tailings engineering. Much of her work involves construction and operations management, often for mining clients.

The WiSE Committee was created by the Women in Engineering (WiE) group at the University of British Columbia to connect undergraduates and industry professionals in engineering and science fields. WiE was established by faculty and students to foster an environment that encourages the inclusion, celebration, and development of women in engineering.
