The Tailings and Mine Waste Conference is a forum for presenting the state-of-art and state-of-practice with respect to mill tailings and mine waste. It also provides a platform to discuss current and future topics facing the tailings, mining, and environmental communities.

The Tailings and Mine Waste 2023 conference program will include exemplary technical presentations and keynotes by practitioners and well-known experts in tailings and mine waste worldwide. The 2023 program will also include many expert panels, six short courses, and networking opportunities. The conference is hosted through the Colorado State University in conjunction with the Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering at the University of British Columbia and the University of Alberta on alternating years.
