Nigel is a Senior Water Resources Engineer based in Minnesota with more than 32 years of experience focused on watershed monitoring and modeling, water resources assessment and planning, and stormwater design and modeling on behalf of clients in the nonprofit, private, and public sectors.
Harsh is a Professional Consultant based in Minnesota who specializes in hydrologic modeling. As part of his doctoral research focus, he analyzed future recharge trends in Minnesota using Global Climate Model climate projection data and evaluated how seasonally frozen ground can influence recharge.
Samrat is a Senior Staff Professional based in Minnesota who focuses on hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, wastewater engineering, and green stormwater infrastructure. He has extensive experience in hydraulic computations, statistical analysis, and programming.
Spencer is a Project Scientist based in Minnesota who addresses surface-water biochemistry and environmental isotope geochemistry, with a focus on mercury cycling. He brings expertise in stable isotope measurements, mass spectrometry, and environmental geochemical analyses.
The Minnesota Water Resources Conference gathers water-resources professionals to discuss water-resource engineering solutions, management techniques, and research involving Minnesota’s water resources. Topics include lessons learned during engineering projects, best practices in water-resource-management, implications of water-policy decisions, and research into current and emerging issues.
The event is presented by the University of Minnesota Water Resources Center and the College of Continuing and Professional Studies at the University of Minnesota.
