Feasibility Study for Waste-to-Energy Technologies
Robins Air Force Base, located in central Georgia, has goals of reducing the quantity of waste that is sent from the base to landfills, generating renewable energy on the base, and reducing environmental impacts of the base. Geosyntec was retained by the base to conduct a Feasibility Study (FS) to evaluate currently available waste-to-energy (WTE) technologies that could potentially be utilized and to recommend technology based on the types and quantities of wastes generated on the base and potential to achieve the goals of the base.
