Defining End States for International Nuclear Decommissioning: Applying Lessons from the United States Department of Energy
As Japan progresses with nuclear decommissioning, there is a recognized need to establish clear end states for its sites. Longenecker & Associates, a Geosyntec Company, was commissioned to use our international experience with decommissioning, along with our knowledge of best practices, to document processes and methods used in the United States Department of Energy (US DOE) cleanup program for negotiating site end states.
