Geosyntec Consultants and Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) will be hosting the 2020 Edition of the Oil Refinery and Petrochemical Wastewater Treatment Training Course at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas on October 27-29, 2020.

This year’s training course blends a condensed summary of the fundamentals with more advanced content to increase students’ knowledge.

Course Information

What: 36 Hours of classroom instruction by world renowned expert professors and practitioners in wastewater treatment specific to Oil Refinery & Petrochemical Plant conditions.

When: Tuesday, April 28 through Thursday, April 30; Classroom hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily; Optional private one-on-one instruction from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily

Why: This course addresses the unique nature of Refinery & Petrochemical Wastewater, which demands strikingly different engineering considerations than addressed in conventional sewage treatment books. All attendees, pending course completion, earn continuing education credits.
