Client Service

To address heavy metals, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum, Eric manages projects from the remedial investigation/feasibility study phase through design, permitting, and implementation of cleanup actions. This work often includes developing site-specific closure strategies and cleanup cost estimates, utilizing alternative cleanup standards and model remedies, conducting vapor assessments, employing monitored natural attenuation, and implementing institutional controls such as environmental covenants. Over the past decade, he has guided numerous cleanup sites to closure under the Model Toxics Control Act by working with the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) and the Pollution Liability Insurance Agency.

An action-focused and results-oriented engineer, Eric implements cleanup actions across Washington to help his clients achieve regulatory closure and productively use of their properties to meet their objectives while protecting human health and the environment. He does this by engineering solutions to environmental problems that reduce liability while increasing the value of assets. He has obtained many No Further Action closures through Ecology and the Pollution Liability Insurance Agency, both through voluntary programs and through formal Agreed Orders with the state.
