Client Service
On behalf of clients, Chris manages complex environmental projects, handling tasks including remedial action plans and feasibility studies, construction estimating, bidding and procurement management, regulatory permitting and compliance, site characterization and remediation, and solid and liquid waste characterization and management. He designs and implements field monitoring and sampling programs with a focus on groundwater, soil vapor intrusion, air compliance, and indoor-air sampling, often addressing emerging contaminants like per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and hazardous building materials like asbestos and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). In addition, Chris manages landfill environmental compliance, designs and optimizes landfill gas systems, conducts post-wildfire assessments, provides emergency environmental response services, and oversees intricate remedial construction projects.
To support his client’s unique environmental situations, Chris brings an in-depth knowledge of innovative and proven remediation technologies, including biostimulation, bioaugmentation, and soil vapor extraction. He has successfully implemented such technologies at multiple commercial, municipal, and federal project sites throughout southern California to address impacted soil and groundwater and obtain regulatory closure. In his many years of experience managing large-scale contaminated sites, Chris focuses on treating and managing soil on-site to reduce the volume of soil requiring costly off-site disposal. No matter the project, he works closely with his clients to apply practical solutions that minimize long-term risk for current on-site structures and for new construction.
Chris is highly involved in local and statewide land revitalization initiatives to repurpose contaminated properties. He works closely with regulators and stakeholders to develop sensible approaches and identify funding opportunities to help clients achieve their redevelopment vision for contaminated and brownfield properties.
