Geosyntec practitioners will significantly contribute to the World of Coal Ash (WOCA) 2026 Conference on May 4 through 7, in Lexington, Kentucky.
Jaime Mercado, PhD, S.M.ASCE (Tennessee), Pourya Kargar (Missouri), and Gizem Bozkurt, PhD, PE (Georgia), will contribute to Geo-Congress 2023 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California, on March 26 through 29, 2023. In addition, Santiago Caballero, PhD, PE, (California) and Jerko Kocijan, PhD, PE, GE (California) will attend.
Jaime Mercado, Ph.D. (Tennessee) coauthored a paper titled "Seismic Response of Nonlinear-Inelastic Tall Buildings Soil-Structure Interaction" that was published for the 3rd International Conference on Seismic Design and Analysis of Structures and Foundations (SeismiCON 2022). The conference was held May 26 and 27, 2022, in London, United Kingdom.
Geosyntec staff will make a significant technical contribution at Geo-Congress 2022 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 20 through 23, 2022.
Jaime Mercado, Ph.D., S.M.ASCE, (Tennessee) coauthored an article entitled "Nonlinear Inelastic-Degrading Structural Modeling Approach to Assess the Seismic Soil-Structure Interaction Response of Tall Buildings" for publication in the Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering on August 5, 2021.
