Project Objective
The Palm Jumeirah Marina is the first and largest marina facility on Palm Jumeirah, and one of the largest in Dubai. The facility, owned and operated by the Nakheel Marinas, consists of two branches on the Trunk of Palm Jumeirah. The marina provides berthing for 582 private yachts ranging from 10 to 30 meters in length. The marina was designed as a state-of-the-art facility to offer premiere services to boat owners and guests.
Scope of Services
Geosyntec provided a full suite of marina services including concept through detailed planning, financial modeling, tender-phase services, and construction-phase services. Geosyntec practitioners also provided environmental and water-resources services including the environmental impact assessment and water-quality monitoring.
Notable Accomplishments
In addition to Geosyntec's comprehensive services in support of Palm Jumeirah Marina, our team provided marina planning services for other Nakheel facilities on Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali, Palm Deira, Dubai Waterfront Islands, and the World Islands.
Note: At the time of this project, Geosyntec practitioners were contracted as ATM, which was acquired by Geosyntec.
