Over the past 20 years, Geosyntec has provided health and safety and industrial hygiene services for 14 General Dynamics Ordnance & Tactical Systems facilities across the United States and Canada.

The projects have included detailed Environment, health and safety (EHS) investigations as part of a program to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Process Safety Management (PSM) guidelines. PSM program requirements also include compliance with DOD 4145.26-M Contractor’s Safety Manual for Ammunition and Explosives.

PSM regulations require proper management of lockout/tag out programs, industrial hygiene monitoring programs, hazard communication training, medical surveillance, and ergonomic evaluations. Our staff have prepared GD-OTS for corporate audits involving environmental issuesOSHA 1910.120 compliance, and associated state and county regulatory programs.

In addition to PSM consulting services our team of professionals are asked each year to perform detailed environmental, health and safety investigations. their robust corporate audits involving RCRA, HSWA, the Clean Water Act (CWA), Title IV air permitting, petroleum, OSHA 1910.120, and related state and county regulatory programs.
