His industry expertise spans the research and development process, from upstream molecular design of substances with improved environmental health properties to design of experimental testing programs and computer models that enable site-specific, national, and international chemical product risk assessments. He has directed simultaneous multinational product registrations of dozens of new chemicals and families of chemicals in the United States and Europe, negotiated with regulators and diverse stakeholders, and directed technical public relations programs to limit misperception of hazards and risks associated with the use of various chemicals in globally marketed products.
