Client Service

In addition, his work often addresses stormwater management designs, Clean Water Act compliance, and dam-safety permits and designs. He led the development of nutrient assessment reduction plans for several municipal clients in Illinois, including the Fox River Study Group, the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, and the Sanitary District of Decatur, among others. As Geosyntec’s in-house specialist in mixing-zone studies, he spearheaded multiple investigations in tidal and riverine environments to support environmental permitting. He designs effective stormwater management plans, navigates intricate flood-control projects, and holds a key role in developing detailed hydrologic and hydraulic studies to revise FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps.

To advance the state of the practice, Rishab regularly presents on topics including managing nutrients, assessing surface-water quality, and mapping flood hazards for riverine systems. Vice Chair of the Water Environment Federation (WEF) Watershed Management Community and Chair of the Illinois Water Environment Association Government Affairs committee.
