Client Service

Clients seek out Renee to find solutions for their critical stormwater and surface-water needs, recognizing her  in-depth knowledge of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting; municipal stormwater program planning and operations; and stormwater best management practices (BMPs). For much of her career, she has worked closely with public and private clients on tasks related to stormwater and industrial NPDES permit compliance.

As a stormwater planner, Renee provides technical assistance to various clients on regulatory issues, including developing and evaluating conceptual BMP plans and assessing the significance of potential water-quality impacts. She has prepared nutrient-control plans for both nitrogen and phosphorous on behalf of numerous municipalities throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She has also supported clients in the Great Bay Watershed as they plan for and implement nonpoint-source controls to reduce nitrogen loads.

Renee has developed and implemented climate resiliency plans that focus on adapting critical infrastructure to changing precipitation patterns, increased tidal cycles, and hydromodification.

With years of experience managing water-quality projects, Renee is adept at organizing and leading technical discussions, overseeing contracting, and managing complex projects to meet budgets and schedules. She is recognized as a clear communicator of technical subject matter, and she writes and edits technical memos, reports, and manuals that are geared to their intended audiences.
