Pete Peterson is a Principal Waterfront Engineer based in Florida with more than 35 years of experience focused on coastal engineering, marine structures, and environmental assessments.

On behalf of clients, Pete applies his extensive construction and environmental background to large and complex oceanographic and water-related projects, taking them from planning, design, and permitting through construction. His work often addresses private marinas, large cruise-ship destinations, and ports and harbors in the United States, Central America, the Caribbean, China, and the Pacific Islands.

Pete provides services including coastal-structure design and permitting, dredging support, marine environmental impact assessments, and ocean engineering. In addition, he conducts coastal-process and shoreline-change analyses and leads due diligence investigations for marina and coastal developments. His construction experience includes large marine projects involving commercial docks, piers, revetments, jetties, dredging, and mooring facilities.
