Mike Kovacich is a Senior Principal Hydrogeologist based in Michigan with more than 30 years of experience focusing on complex environmental investigation and remediation projects, landfill monitoring programs, treatment system optimization, and groundwater supply projects.

On behalf of municipal and industrial clients, Mike directs large soil and groundwater remediation projects to support the redevelopment and continued use of environmentally contaminated properties. He is adept at developing creative, effective, and best-value strategies that help clients reduce cleanup costs and environmental liability. Mike supports clients with sites under the jurisdiction of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), and numerous state environmental programs.

Mike brings practical solutions to clients, drawing on deep experience with subsurface investigations and remediation at large sites featuring complex geological conditions and contaminant types.
