Client Service
Meghan works with municipalities, irrigation districts, nonprofits, and private partners, and she implements water right acquisitions and changes, manages water right portfolios, and develops water banks. She collaborates with cities to increase their water right authority, agricultural producers to audit and manage their water-right portfolios, and counties and irrigation districts to develop water banks. In addition to handling permitting, Meghan has extensive experience working with public entities to develop reports focused on water management. She has also led multidisciplinary teams on complex Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) reviews, including programmatic and project-level environmental impact statements.
Clients seek out Meghan for her deep understanding of water right permitting and management gained through her work with the Department of Ecology in Washington, Washington Water Trust, and the Department of Natural Resources in Alaska. She uses this experience to help clients understand and work through the permitting process. Meghan participates in water-law conferences, follows policy updates closely, and is active in related professional organizations.
