Maygan Cline is a Principal Geologist based in California with more than 14 years of experience focused on hydrogeologic site characterizations, in situ and ex situ remediation technologies, regulatory liaison, site closure, and property redevelopment for private and public clients.

Maygan has managed complex projects and portfolios by leading and motivating multidisciplinary teams to achieve mutually agreeable client and regulatory objectives. She is versed in managing site investigation and or remediation of soil, groundwater, and vapor phase contamination from hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, metals, and PFAS.

Through her experience as a consultant, she has developed creative and cost effective solutions the balance client, regulatory and community needs and expectations. She is experienced with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), including planning and permitting large-scale remediation and restoration projects within the coastal zone of California. She is a steward of health and safety and is versed in construction oversight, contractor bidding, selection and management. Maygan provides stakeholder, regulatory and public engagement support to Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) for multiple groundwater basins in southern California, in compliance with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).

Maygan understands that stakeholder engagement is a crucial component of successful project implementation. Because of her extensive experience investigating and solving technical challenges, building relationships with private-sector industrial clients and public-sector municipalities, navigating the regulatory landscape and engaging key stakeholders; she is uniquely able to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences, and negotiate tactfully to reach mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties.
