Client Service

With deep expertise in geologic and geophysical mapping, subsurface modeling, and regulatory management across local, state, and federal jurisdictions, Mark often supports clients on projects involving carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), geologic energy resources, and energy‑transition technologies. He is known for integrating rigorous subsurface science with regulatory, operational, and stakeholder requirements, and for delivering defensible, decision‑ready analyses in highly regulated environments.

Mark’s technical experience spans exploration and resource evaluation, reserves estimation, site screening, risk and uncertainty analysis, navigation of the Underground Injection Control (UIC) program, and development of three-dimensional static earth models for complex subsurface systems. He excels at translating complex geologic data into clear visualizations and communications tailored to technical, regulatory, policy, and community audiences to lead projects from early concept development and feasibility through design, permitting, and operations.

As a recognized technical leader in CCUS and geologic energy systems, Mark provides strategic technical direction and program management for interdisciplinary teams delivering decarbonization portfolios that include oil and gas value chains, CCUS, geothermal, hydrogen, and efficiency.
