Keith Kroeger

In this capacity, he leads sediment, water-quality, and ecological studies for projects related to contaminated sediment sites. Keith is a technical and strategic resource for a variety of clients and is adept at managing complex waterfront projects. He regularly works with clients, counsel, and insurance companies to allocate funding responsibility for complex projects.

Keith is well-versed in the regulatory requirements associated with the dredging and disposal of contaminated sediments, such as those administered by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (including permitting under Sections 10, 103, and 404), the United States Environmental Protection Agency (including CERCLA and NEPA projects), and various state and local programs. On behalf of clients, he uses his regulatory knowledge to conduct strategic planning in response to state-led cleanup actions at waterfront properties and to design cost-effective approaches to evaluate the nature and extent of contamination. Specifically, Keith has assisted clients and legal counsel by providing sediment-related strategic technical support to assess potential liabilities and cost allocation.
