Jonathan Allen is a Principal Scientist based in Tennessee with more than 18 years of experience focusing on water and natural resources.
Serving as one Geosyntec’s leaders of environmental permitting services for key transportation clients, Jonathan also has deep experience supporting municipalities, state and federal governments, and power utilities.
Jonathan works collaboratively with clients to identify and manage their environmental liabilities and responsibilities through effective compliance programs and permitting efforts, including those required under the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act. Throughout his career, he has managed more than 300 environmental compliance and permitting projects for a wide variety of clients. Mr. Allen is a proven client advocate, having experience in multiple states throughout the eastern United States. He cultivates valuable relationships with the regulatory community and works to secure environmental permit coverage in record time for complex, high-visibility projects.
