Client Service
Clients seek out Heather to manage complex multimedia investigation and remediation projects for sites impacted with single and mixed-plume contaminants. She primarily supports industrial clients, with significant experience working for rail and chemical-manufacturing clients, often on projects regulated by RCRA, CERCLA, and state voluntary remediation programs. Heather has developed training and corporate programs to support her industrial clients’ federal and state-regulated CWA, CAA, and RCRA compliance. She also conducts auditing, inspections, sampling, and reporting on their behalf. Clients, regulators, and other stakeholders know Heather for her ability to build and maintain multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
In service to her profession, Heather managed research and development of ASTM Method, Determination of Parent and Alkyl Polycyclic Aromatics in Sediment Pore Water Using Solid-Phase Microextraction and Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry in Selected Ion Monitoring Mode (D7363-07). She also supported the 2022 update of ASTM Method E2137-22, Standard Guide for Estimating Monetary Costs and Liabilities for Environmental Matters. In addition, she has presented at the Battelle Chlorinated, Battelle Sediments, and Joint Rail conferences.
Since earning her American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists (AAEES) BCES certification in 2016, Heather has served on the testing panel for other BCES and BCEE candidates. She also founded the Three Rivers Chapter of the Society of Women Environmental Professionals in 2017, continuing to serve on the Board of Directors, and serves on the Women’s Network of Geosyntec Steering Committee.
