Ganesh brings consulting expertise in the design of surface water management systems; BMP evaluations; steep terrain hydrology and hydraulics; hydrology and hydraulics for dams; floodplain and floodway evaluations; low-impact development design; stormwater master planning; and erosion and sediment control design and implementation. He also brings experience in the design, permitting, and construction of waste containment systems and associated environmental restoration and remediation.
Ganesh's research experience includes development of continuous simulation models for urban watersheds; development of calibration parameters for annual pollutant load models; sediment removal for urban runoff; and physical hydraulic models. He was the project manager and lead designer for an award-winning watershed demonstration project in Roswell, Georgia, that featured a base-flow augmentation system using groundwater recharge techniques. He also served as the project manager and technical lead for the development of a stormwater master planning model tool for a federal client to aid in infrastructure optimization. For more than a decade, Ganesh has been providing programmatic environmental compliance support for one of the world’s largest retailers. He is presently the project manager for the design of an On-Site Waste Disposal Facility (OSWDF) for the disposal of low-level radioactive waste from the decontamination & decommissioning of U.S. Department of Energy’s Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PORTS) in Piketon, Ohio.
Ganesh is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), and a Certified Level I & II Trainer for Erosion and Sediment Control in Georgia. He has conducted numerous training workshops to assist clients with construction NPDES compliance. He has prepared numerous design reports, permit applications, technical specifications, construction drawings, erosion and sediment control plans, and stormwater pollution prevention plans. He has also provided expert consultation and has testifying experience related to water resources and other environmental litigation.
