David Reid is a Senior Principal Tailings Engineer based in Australia with more than 20 years of experience focused on tailings characterization and modeling. As leader of Geosyntec REELab, a dedicated tailings testing facility in Perth, he specializes in the laboratory characterization of tailings and conducts stability analyses and numerical modeling.
Mining clients benefit both from David's combination of strong consulting and research experience and from his ability to distill findings and methods developed in academia for direct application to better characterise tailings.
