Client Service

Clients seek out Andrea for her practical experience completing human health and ecological risk assessments in support of brownfield redevelopment, contaminated site management, and remedial strategy development, as well as for due diligence purposes. She tailors her work on each project to the needs of the client. Her approaches include screening-level risk assessments, community-based risk assessments that encompass multiple properties and multiple uses, and regulatory risk assessments in support of Record of Site Condition (RSC) filings.

Andrea applies principles of risk assessment to support many areas of environmental project work, including site investigation and characterization, conceptual site model development, contaminated site strategy, and vapor intrusion assessment. Her work also underpins litigation support and regulatory and due-diligence peer reviews. In addition, her risk assessments are used to help develop excess soil quality standards and soil management plans in support of the beneficial reuse of excess soil and sediment.

As part of Geosyntec’s Global Product Stewardship Practice, Andrea provides technical consulting to support product and regulatory compliance under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA), the Pest Control Products Act (PCPA), the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), and Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). This work often includes reviewing labeling claims, marketing materials, and efficacy data for consumer products for compliance under the applicable regulations. She also reviews consumer product ingredients to assess safety for intended users and supports pesticide device registration in various states.
