Florida County Selects Geosyntec Team to Provide Solid Waste Engineering and Planning Services

Geosyntec Consultants is pleased to announce its selection by the Putnam County Board of Commissioners to provide a wide range of solid waste engineering and planning services. Geosyntec and its teaming partner, R. W. Beck, an SAIC Company, have entered into a five-year agreement to provide professional services in support of the County's solid waste management program. This is Geosyntec's first professional services contract with Putnam County. The "as needed" nature of the contract provides the County with flexible access to Geosyntec's resources and expertise for solid waste facility design, permitting, compliance reporting, and remediation/restoration activities. While Geosyntec will focus on the engineering and environmental compliance aspects of the County's solid waste management program, R.W. Beck will focus on the master planning, accounting, and recycling program management aspects of solid waste management.

The Geosyntec team will be led by Dr. Kwasi Badu-Tweneboah, PE, as project manager-, with support from Geosyntec technical staff based in Geosyntec's seven Florida offices and R.W. Beck's office in Orlando. Geosyntec has been providing engineering and environmental services to local governments, state agencies, and private interests in Florida for more than 25 years.
