Geosyntec Welcomes Chad Drummond as Associate
ORLANDO, Fla. — Geosyntec Consultants welcomes Chad Drummond, PE, as Associate. Chad has environmental and water resources engineering experience focusing on the areas of environmental remediation and restoration, applied numerical modeling, and surface water conveyance and treatment. He has worked on various impaired waters projects and has evaluated contaminant (including emerging contaminants) and nutrient migration within and between surface water and groundwater. Models employed include SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, WASP, BASINS, MODFLOW, and RT3D/MT3DMS.
In addition to his environmental and water resources engineering practice, Chad is currently an adjunct professor at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Mich., and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla. As an adjunct professor, he teaches senior-level undergraduate and graduate courses in environmental engineering, hazardous waste, and groundwater flow and solute fate and transport modeling. He is also active in professional societies including the Florida Stormwater Association, Water Environment Federation, American Society of Civil Engineers, and National Ground Water Association.
Mr. Drummond has presented his water resources and environmental restoration work in peer reviewed journals and at technical conferences across the United States. He earned his MS in environmental engineering from the University of Michigan and his BS in civil engineering from the University of South Florida, where he graduated summa cum laude.
