ATM Expands Client Service in Saudi Arabia

ATM, a Geosyntec Company, has opened our first office in Saudi Arabia (KSA), growing our presence in the Middle East and providing innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for which we are known worldwide.

The KSA ATM office will allow us to better serve coastal, ports, and waterfront clients in the KSA on large and complex projects by conducting marine and coastal engineering studies, creating innovative designs, and supervising construction. In addition, our depth of expertise in the field and in the region, combined with access to a worldwide network of interdisciplinary experts, make us uniquely qualified to contribute to KSA’s Public Investment Fund Giga-Projects. Luca Marini will be the new KSA Country Manager.

The opening of the new office in Riyadh, to support our already significant operations in the UAE, strategically increases our capacity in the Middle East, building on ATM’s existing offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This expansion increases our presence in the region as a diverse, multinational consulting and engineering firm working with private- and public- sector clients to address the most complex projects involving environmental issues, infrastructure, and natural resources. Throughout 2024, we will build our team of engineers and scientists working both in the Riyadh office and at project sites.

KSA Country Manager Luca Marini is a structural engineer who supports international waterfront, energy-related, and industrial endeavors; he focuses on marine structural and waterfront projects throughout KSA and the United Arab Emirates. Luca’s work in the region includes engineering design for marine structures including cruise terminals, superyacht facilities, port facilities, jetties, anchoring piles, mooring piers, causeways, boardwalks, gangways, and breakwaters. His design work comprises such varied projects as overwater villas, an LNG import terminal, and the outfall chamber of a power station. In KSA, Luca will focus on creating a dynamic team to address the unique nature of marine engineering in the KSA.
