Geosyntec Practitioners to Make Significant Contributions at WOCA 2024

Geosyntec practitioners will make significant contributions to the World of Coal Ash (WOCA) on May 13 through 16, 2024, at the Amway Grand Plaza in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Presenters include Ben Amos, Ali Akbari, Phil Benson, Max Cange, Jamey Dotson, Bob Glazier, Nathan Higgerson, Allison Kreinberg, Steve McManus, John Seymour, and Tom Ward of Geosyntec. Gradient’s Andrew Bittner, Ari Lewis, and John Kondziolka will also speak, as will SiREM’s Larissa Smith and Jacques Smith.

WOCA is the leading international conference on the science, application, and sustainability of coal combustion products (CCPs). The conference is organized by the American Coal Ash Association (ACAA) and the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research (CAER).

The ACAA supports the development, implementation, and continuation of effective programs for the management and use of CCPs. The organization advances the management and use of coal combustion products in ways that are environmentally responsible, technically sound, commercially competitive, and supportive of a sustainable global community.

The University of Kentucky’s CAER investigates energy technologies to improve the environment. The Center's researchers contribute to technically-sound policies related to fossil and renewable energy by addressing topics including CCPs, biofuels and clean fuels, materials technologies, organic electronics, and power generation.

Geosyntec is a Palladium Sponsor of the event.
