Geosyntec and Red Earth Engineering Contribute to the AusIMM Mine Waste and Tailings Conference

The event will be held July 13 and 14, 2023, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in Brisbane, Australia. Red Earth Engineering is a platinum sponsor of the event and will be available at booths 3 and 4 throughout the event.

With 75 tailings professionals in Australia backed by Geosyntec's global expertise in risk assessment, seismic hazard assessment, geochemistry, environmental engineering and remediation, and tailings storage facility closure, Red Earth Engineering and Geosyntec offer a breadth of skill and experience to the conference.

During AusIMM Mine Waste and Tailings 2023, our people will participate as follows:

  • Chao Han; Benoit Wentzinger CPEng, RPEQ; Mike Liu; Silvia Mancini, PhD, PGeo; Oliver Dudley; and Scott Lines together will deliver seven technical papers.
  • Wade Ludlow will present during the Monitoring Workshop.
  • Marcelo Llano, PhD, will address site investigation of tailings dams, from in situ testing and sampling to parameter selection.
  • Wade Ludlow will be a panelist during the expert panel, “What Governs?”
  • Symon Jackson will be a panelist during the expert panel, “TSF Closure.”
