Geosyntec to Exhibit and Moderate a Session at the A&WMA–LMSS Annual Air Conference
Geosyntec is exhibiting and moderating a session at the Air & Waste Management Association's Lake Michigan States Section (A&WMA–LMSS) Annual Air Conference in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, on November 1, 2022.
Chriso Petropoulou, Ph.D., P.E., BCEE, will serve as moderator of the "Luncheon and Speaker" session at 11:45 a.m. CDT on November 1. In addition, attendees can visit Geosyntec's booth and connect with our technical experts and discover how we help meet their air quality and environmental management compliance requirements using innovative, cost-effective solutions. Mark Willobee, CPESC, will also attend the conference and will be available at the booth.
Chriso is a Senior Principal Environmental Engineer based in Illinois with more than 30 years of experience serving a wide variety of clients in the industrial manufacturing sector. She specializes in large remediation projects involving site investigations, source identification, cost allocation, and remediation design. She has extensive technical and regulatory experience in the remediation of soil and groundwater impacts from chlorinated solvents, heavy metals, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PNAs), total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH), and nonaqueous-phase liquids (NAPL).
Mark is a Principal Consultant based in Illinois with more than 20 years of experience managing water and natural resources. He routinely helps clients comply with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) stormwater requirements for industrial facilities and construction sites. Mark manages projects ranging from compliance concerns at one facility to developing and implementing compliance programs for companies with multiple facilities nationwide.
The A&WMA–LMSS Annual Air Conference presents a comprehensive program on air quality management issues in the Lake Michigan states region. This year's conference will address the rapidly evolving environmental initiatives under the Biden Administration, including environmental justice and climate-related topics.
The A&WMA-LMSS is a unit of the Air & Waste Management Association. The section covers Illinois, Northwest Indiana, Wisconsin, and Western Michigan with chapters throughout the region. The Air and Waste Management Association is a professional society of those working and studying in the environmental fields. Membership includes scientists, engineers, lawyers, and related professionals from government, industry, academia, consulting, and non-governmental organizations.
