Mike Hardin to Present on Nutrient Removal at the Florida Lake Management Society's Annual Technical Symposium
Mike Hardin, P.E., Ph.D., CFM (Florida) will present "Evaluation of the Field Performance of a Baffle Box with Bold & Gold Upflow Filter for Nutrient Removal" at the 33rd Annual Technical Symposium of the Florida Lake Management Society (FLMS) at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs, Florida, at 9:05 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022.
Mike Hardin is a Principal Water Resources Engineer based in Florida with more than 14 years of experience, including watershed assessments, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, GIS data analysis, evaluating best management practices (BMPs), developing dam emergency action plans (EAP), and water quality modeling.
The theme of the 33rd Annual Technical Symposium is "Turning the Tide: From Springs to Estuarine" and includes workshops, technical presentations, panels, and breakout sessions geared to freshwater specialists throughout the state of Florida.
The mission of the FLMS, founded in 1987, is to promote protection, enhancement, conservation, restoration and management of Florida's aquatic resources; provide a forum for education and information exchange; and advocate environmentally sound and economically feasible lake and aquatic resources management for the citizens of Florida.
