Geosyntec to Attend and Sponsor the U.S. National Brownfields 2022 Conference

Susan Brodie (Colorado), Amy Dzialowski (Oklahoma), and James Culp, P.G. (Pennsylvania) will speak at Brownfields 2022, which will be held at the Oklahoma City Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma from August 16-19, 2022.

Additionally, Amy Dzialowski served on the planning committee for the conference and Geosyntec is sponsoring conference registration and the community reception.

Joe Mizerany, P.G., (Florida), Eric Kovich, P.E., (Florida), Randy Brandt, P.G., CFM, (Nevada), Kaitlin Rhonehouse, P.E., (North Carolina), Julianne Bolton, P.E. (Maryland), and Alice Blayney, P.E. (Illinois) will also be in attendance.  

Susan Brodie is a Senior Professional with more than 20 years of experience addressing sustainability, clean and renewable energy, waste heat to power (WHP), and environmental management systems.

Amy Dzialowski is a Senior Principal with more than 20 years of experience specializing in environmental planning, with specific emphasis on brownfields redevelopment, grant writing, community engagement, and environmental due diligence. She has successfully secured more than $30 million in brownfields grants and has helped more than a dozen communities throughout the United States revitalize brownfields sites through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) brownfields program.

James Culp, P.G. is a Senior Principal based in Pennsylvania with more than 33 years of experience focused on investigation and restoration of contaminated sites.

The National Brownfields Training Conference is the largest event in the nation focused on environmental revitalization and economic redevelopment. Held every two years, the National Brownfields Conference attracts over 2,000 stakeholders in brownfields redevelopment and cleanup to share knowledge about sustainable reuse and celebrate the EPA brownfields program's success.

Since its inception in 1995, EPA's Brownfields and Land Revitalization Program has grown into a proven, results-oriented program that has changed the way communities address and manage contaminated property. Geosyntec Participation

Susan Brodie will lead a panel called "Brightfields: State Initiatives that Encourage Renewable Energy Development on Brownfields" and participate in the topic talk “From Brownfields to Brightfields: Mapping Colorado's Renewable Energy Future."

Amy Dzialowski will lead the "Topic Talk: City of Reno USEPA Brownfields Coalition Grant Success."

James Culp, P.G., will present "Boomerang Properties: Emerging Contaminants and Other Things That Will Keep You Awake at Night" as part of Tract 6, Liability and Enforcement.
