Susan Brodie Joins Geosyntec as Senior Professional
Susan Brodie (Colorado) recently joined Geosyntec Consultants as a Senior Professional, bringing more than 20 years of experience addressing sustainability, clean and renewable energy, waste heat to power (WHP), and environmental management systems.
She routinely works with industrial clients, oil and gas companies, commercial operations, and local and state governments. At Geosyntec, Susan will focus on expanding our energy, sustainability, and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) capabilities in the mountain and midwest regions in the United States
In corporate roles at Conoco and GE, Susan led companywide environmental, health and safety management systems, compliance assurance, and audit programs. She developed measurements and reporting systems, helped implement Clean Air Act regulations, and drafted position papers on emerging energy and environmental issues. As head of a national trade association, Susan helped get WHP included in the 30% Federal Investment Tax Credit, on par with solar and wind. Her experience also includes leading development of an innovative geodatabase and web mapping application to increase renewable energy on brownfields sites in Colorado, providing outreach on WHP and combined heat and power to utilities and commercial and industrial companies for a state energy office, and advising emerging technology innovators focused on bringing sustainability solutions to market.
Susan holds a masters degree in environmental management from Yale and a bachelors degree in environmental studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
