Geosyntec to Have Broad Participation in A&WMA's 2022 Annual Conference on Sustainability and Energy Transition

Geosyntec staff will be attending the Air & Waste Management Association's 115th Annual Conference and Exposition in San Francisco, California on June 27 – 30, 2022.

Geosyntec is positioned to make a significant impact at the conference through hosting a booth, delivering a presentation, planning and sponsoring a fun run, leading several Young Professionals events, and conducting interviews for several open positions.

The conference will address the environmental impacts on communities in the United States and around the world requires innovative and sustainable solutions guided by science. California is a global leader in environmental policy and technology, making San Francisco a unique location for the 2022 Annual Conference.

Founded in 1907, the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional organization enhancing knowledge and expertise by providing a neutral forum for information exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education, and outreach to more than 5,000 environmental professionals in 65 countries. A&WMA promotes global environmental responsibility and increases the effectiveness of organizations to make critical decisions that benefit society.

Geosyntec Participation

Annika Wallendahl, P.E., L.G., M.B.A. (Washington) and team will be available at the Geosyntec Conference Booth #410 in the Exhibition Hall. Annika is also the current chair for the Puget Sound A&WMA Chapter (Greater Seattle area).

Andrea Siefers, P.E. (North Carolina) will be presenting on "Upstream Natural Gas Methane Emissions Reduction Strategies – Confluence of Mandatory and Voluntary Initiatives Including Regulation, Target Setting, and Responsibly Sourced Gas Certification” from 8:40 to 9:00 a.m. PT on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

Lynn McGuire, P.E. (California) is on the Local Host Planning Committee and has organized the Conference Fun Run, on Wednesday morning, that Geosyntec is sponsoring.

Tingting Jiang (California) is leading several Young Professionals Events during the Conference.
