Geo-Congress 2022: State of the Art and Practice in Geotechnical Engineering brings researchers, practitioners, students, and contractors together to showcase current work and research within the field of geotechnical engineering. The second Geo-Congress focused on the state of practice in Geotechnical Engineering, the event is occurring ten years after the inaugural event. Geo-Congress is hosted by the Geo-Institute, one of nine specialty institutes within the American Society of Civil Engineers. Over 1,200 attendees are expected to attend are expected to attend.

With more than 16,000 members, Geo-Institute promotes the geotechnical profession and enhances career development through specialty conferences, journals and practice-oriented publications, educational programs, networking and coalition building, technical committees and task forces and leadership on emerging issues. Members include scientists, engineers, technologists, and organizations interested in improving the environment, mitigating natural hazards, and constructing economically engineered facilities.
