Jeremy Morris Presented on Waste Diversion and Financial Sustainability
Jeremy Morris, Ph.D., P.E., (Maryland) presented "Waste Diversion and Financial Sustainability” at the at New Hampshire Business and Industry Association at 10:30 a.m. ET on November 9, 2021.
Jeremy Morris is a Principal Engineer with Geosyntec Consultants and has more than 20 years of professional experience in solid waste management. He is a practice leader within Geosyntec’s solid waste advisory group. Building on a background in facility design, permitting, and construction oversight, Jeremy provides strategic advisory services on master planning; feasibility studies; market valuations; operational reviews; best practices; and evaluating options for increasing waste diversion to meet recycling goals and mandates, including waste transfer and sorting, materials recovery, recycling, composting, and anaerobic digestion. He is the author of more than 65 technical publications and currently serves on the Research Council for the Environmental Research and Education Foundation.
The "Waste Diversion and Financial Sustainability” presentation will discuss waste diversion and recycling efforts and their positive environmental and economic impacts, drawing on examples from jurisdictions across the United States.
