Chase Holton Joins the Editorial Board for the Journal Groundwater Monitoring & Remediation
Chase Holton, Ph.D., P.E. ( Colorado) recently joined the editorial board of Groundwater Monitoring & Remediation. He was invited to the board by the editor-in-chief following his role as guest associate editor for a 2021 focus issue on vapor intrusion risk assessment.
Prior to this role, Chase has served as a peer reviewer for the publication from 2016 to 2020
Chase is a Senior Environmental Engineer based in Colorado with more than 10 years of research and consulting experience focused on contaminant fate and transport, including assessment and mitigation of the vapor intrusion (VI) pathway.
In his position on the board, Chase will manage the peer review of manuscripts and make recommendations to the editor-in-chief as to which manuscripts should be published. The position does not have an established end date; Chase looks forward to participation on the board for as long as possible.
Groundwater Monitoring & Remediation, published by the National Ground Water Association, is a quarterly journal that offers application oriented, peer-reviewed papers together with insightful articles from the practitioner's perspective. Each issue addresses treatment technology, features columns by industry experts, and includes news briefs and equipment news.
The National Ground Water Association brings together geologists and hydrologists, engineers, groundwater contractors, manufacturers and suppliers of groundwater-related products and services. The Association provides guidance to members, government representatives and the public for scientific, economic, and beneficial development, protection, and management of the world's groundwater resources.
