Geosyntec Announces New Office Location in the Reno, Nevada Area

Geosyntec is expanding services to new and existing clients from our new location at 401 Ryland Street, Suite 201 Reno, Nevada 89502.

Geosyntec is expanding our client services in Nevada with a new office in Reno, Nevada. This office will help our clients create exceptional solutions for a broad range of geo-environmental needs. These include environmental cleanup, water resource engineering, and geotechnical engineering. Our services are key to supporting local industries such as water management agencies, mining companies, manufacturing plants, transportation, and real estate redevelopment. Our local Reno staff will be supported by a team of nationwide experts.

No matter the industry or field, Geosyntec is skilled at managing environmental liabilities and applying our global resources to solve local problems. The office will be led by Randy Brandt, P.G. (CA).

Randy Brandt is a Senior Principal Geologist based in Nevada with more than 30 years of management and technical experience with environmental and hazardous waste issues. He has focused on development and implementation of environmental restoration programs for contaminated hazardous waste sites and brownfield properties, ranging in size from gasoline service stations to closed military bases.

Kim Brandt, P.G., C.Hg. (CA), C.E.M. (NV) (Pending) is a Senior Hydrogeologist with over 24 years of experience in consulting, focused on strategic planning, management, and characterization and remediation of environmental and hazardous waste sites. She has worked on a variety of projects, including single- and multi-property Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and investigation and remediation of facilities ranging from a gasoline service station to closed military installations to facilitate property transactions, redevelopment, and/or compliance with regulatory orders. Kim is experienced in preparing technical documents; implementing investigations; evaluating data collected to assess potential liability risk and the extent of contamination; and implementing remedial solutions. Kim's project management skills allow her to collaboratively work with technical staff; successfully negotiate scopes of work and cleanup criteria with environmental regulators; professionally oversee environmental consultants and contractors; efficiently manage budgets and schedules; interact with the public; and represent the client's interests.
