Troy Hunt Joins Geosyntec as a Senior Principal Engineer

R. Troy Hunt, P.E., (Nevada) recently joined Geosyntec Consultants as a Senior Principal Engineer. He has more than 30 years of experience as a subject matter expert in civil infrastructure planning, engineering, and design as well as in water and natural resources assessment, management, and restoration, strategic and tactical planning, and large program development and delivery.

At Geosyntec, Troy will focus on developing public private partnerships (P3) and will use his entrepreneurial perspective to develop holistic solutions to large-scale infrastructure problems, incorporating triple-bottom-line, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria, and community-based philosophies.

In past roles, Troy has led and managed numerous high-profile projects dealing with water supply and wastewater infrastructure. He was a primary developer and implementor of the first three Community Based P3s in the United States—the Clean Water Partnership in Prince George's County, Maryland; the Stormwater Authority of the City of Chester, Pennsylvania; and the Fresh Coast Protection Partnership in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This work augments Troy's previous large program experience managing the lead engineering joint venture for the Southern Nevada Water Authority's $1.2B water supply program.
