Robert Annear, Ph.D., P.E., (Oregon) will present on a panel on Environmental Issues at the Fires in the Pacific Northwest Seminar in Seattle, Washington at 11:45 AM on April 27, 2021.

Robert Annear is a Senior Principal Engineer based in Oregon. He has more than 20 years of experience focused on the water quality modeling and watershed modeling for local, state and federal agencies, law firms, and clients in the mining, paper, aviation, hydropower, and water supply sectors.
Due to many factors, the risk of fire on the West Coast has become a real challenge. Climate change, forestry practices, and government and emergency requirements have made fire preparation and response especially complicated. Fires in the Pacific Northwest will feature discussions of environmental and climate issues involved with large fire events as well as governmental responses, legal responses, insurance considerations, mapping and zoning issues, and more.
