Dave Major Co-Authors PFAS Paper for Environmental Science & Technology Journal
Dave Major, Ph.D. (Guelph) co-authored "Remediation of PFAS-Contaminated Soil and Granular Activated Carbon by Smoldering Combustion", recently published in the Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T) Journal.
Dave's co-authors are Alexandra L. Duchesne, Joshua Brown, and Jason I. Gerhard from the University of Western Ontario, and David Patch, and Kela Weber from the Royal Military College of Canada.
The study presented in the paper explored smoldering combustion for remediating PFAS-impacted granular activated carbon and PFAS-contaminated soil.
Dave is a Senior Principal based in Ontario with more than 30 years of experience focused on negotiating, managing and directing the development and deployment of cost-effective remediation strategies and technologies for challenging contaminated sites associated with Fortune 500 companies.
