Scott Drew Elected President of the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association
Scott Drew, LSRP, LSE (New Jersey) has been elected as President of the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association (LSRPA).
Scott Drew is a Senior Principal Environmental Scientist based in New Jersey with more than 40 years of experience focused on the fields of environmental technology, site remediation, and environmental chemistry. His practice focuses on the in situ remediation of organic compounds, including chlorinated solvents, explosives, and MTBE. His recent work in fractured rock environments has included the application of anaerobic bioaugmentation in mudstones and biosparging in karst.
In his role as President, which runs through February 2021, Scott will be responsible for leading the Board and staff of the LSRPA in its many activities including meetings with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection senior management, participation in stakeholder committees for technical guidance and regulations, providing continuing education courses for LSRPs, support of the LSRPA's Charitable Foundation, and outreach. Prior to assuming this new position, Scott served as a member of the LSRPA's Board of Trustees for six years.
LSRPA is a professional organization of more than 850 members incorporated in the State of New Jersey in 2009 in response to the creation of the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) certification under the New Jersey Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA). The LSRPA, a non-profit entity, supports LSRPs and other environmental practitioners through education and by providing technical resources.
