Geosyntec Anchorage Office Hosts Open House

Geosyntec's Anchorage office celebrated its new location with an open house for clients on October 24, 2019. This new larger space accommodates the office's growth and provides a more welcoming environment for its clients.

The Anchorage office will continue to focus on contaminated site assessments, clean ups, federally focused projects, groundwater services, and mining opportunities. It also offers a Risk Assessor (one of only two risk assessment consultants in the entire state).

Practitioners Based in Geosyntec's Anchorage Office

Ben Martich, QEP is a Principal Scientist and Principal of the Anchorage office with more than 23 years of experience focused on vapor intrusion and Federal projects.

Olga Stewart is a Senior Engineer with more than 12 years of experience focused on conceptual site models, site characterizations, feasibility studies – focused more on petroleum-related (non-aqueous phase liquids [NAPL]) contaminated sites. She is also actively involved in Business Development efforts to diversify the Anchorage client portfolio, particularly in the Federal sector (the United States Army Corps of Engineers [USACE]) and has made in-roads with new clientele such as the U.S. Coast Guard.

Kristin Bridges is a Risk Assessor/Toxicologist (Scientist) with more than 11 years of experience focused on research, human health risk assessment, public health, and ecotoxicology. She is one of only two risk assessment consultants in the entire state of Alaska.

Samantha (Sam) Fox is an Environmental Engineer (certified P.E. in Alaska) focused on contaminated sites (specifically Formerly Used Defense [FUD] sites), data management, and data visualization.

Bridget Eckhardt is a Staff Engineer focused on groundwater hydrology and permafrost. Bridget's focus has been working on various mining projects such as Pogo Mine & Red Dog Mine, solving various site-related problems.
