Katie Fox Appointed to City of Pensacola Environmental Advisory Board

Katie Fox, P.E. (Florida) has been appointed a member of the City of Pensacola Environmental Advisory Board.

The Environmental Advisory Board reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council and Mayor on environmental policy issues as follows: (1) Proposed ordinances and codes of an environmental nature, (2) Proposed changes to existing environmental ordinances and codes, (3) Other environmental matters affecting the city referred to the Board by the City Council and Mayor, (4) Other environmental matters affecting the City that are initiated by the Board and approved by the City Council and/or Mayor.

Katie is a civil and water resources engineer focused on helping clients with storm water management, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, commercial land development, erosion and sedimentation control, storm water operation and maintenance inspections, environmental resource permitting, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting, and permit and construction plan preparation. She specializes in stormwater management design and permitting to support a variety of projects for clients including coal combustion residual (CCR) pond closures and disposal facilities, solid waste facilities and landfills, industrial facilities, commercial developments and retrofits, and soil and groundwater remediation sites. Additionally, Katie has extensive experience preparing stormwater pollution prevention plans, conducting site inspections during construction to ensure proper implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs), and conducting operation maintenance inspections on newly constructed and existing storm water management facilities.
