Frederic Cosme, CPEng has joined Geosyntec as a Principal Engineer with 20 years of experience in environmental consulting and hydrogeology and will lead the firm's practice in Melbourne, Australia.
Based in Melbourne for the last 12 years, Fred has delivered clients tangible outcomes for the largest industrial sites in the state of Victoria, developing a particular expertise with fractured basalt.
Fred has also provided technical direction and risk mitigation strategies for major industrial facilities many of which are underlain by fractured rock systems or adjacent to surface water in South Australia, New South Wales, and Western Australia.
With his strength in developing illustrations, drawings, flow charts, and conceptual site models, Fred assists stakeholders in grasping the materiality of what needs to be resolved, the proposed path forward, and the endpoints.
At Geosyntec, Fred will focus on the firm's contaminated site assessment and cleanup practice by assisting the conversion of Geosyntec's world-class capabilities to solutions adapted for our clients in Southeast Australia.
