Rula Deeb to be Featured Speaker at Energy Bar Association's "PFAS and Other Emerging Contaminants: Science, Regulation and Litigation" Program in New York
Rula Deeb, Ph.D., BCEEM, PMP (California) will be a featured speaker at Energy Bar Association's (EBA) Environmental Regulation Committee and Northeast Chapter for an afternoon program at Sidley Austin LLP in New York City on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Eastern time.
This program will focus on Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) and other emerging contaminants that are ubiquitous in industrial and consumer products. Other featured speakers are Steven Humphreys, Counsel, Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, and Erik D. Olson, Senior Director, Health and Food, Healthy People & Thriving Communities Program, Natural Resources Defense Council. Remote participation is available.
Rula is a Senior Principal Civil and Environmental Engineer based in California with more than 25 years of experience focused on private practice and academia addressing the cross-media fate and transport of contaminants, and the remediation of complex soil and groundwater sites impacted by non-aqueous phase liquids.
